Meet Mongy

A tiny puppy that was found in a box at Sabeto roadside with two other siblings of his where a person saw them and picked them up and drop them of PASH reception area.
The puppies were physical examined by the doctor and they were infested with flea and ticks and covered with bite marks from mongoose attacks. They were bathed, treated, placed on a drip and syringe fed immediately. Unfortunately, come the following day, Mongy was the only one whimpering the passing of his two sisters. Weeks has passed and treatments was still carried out and Mongy has been eating and drinking and making noise but his back legs were paralysed or not moving  because of the bite marks on the inner thighs.

Therefore, the nurses carried out a vigorous exercise to get Mongy’s back leg moving again because from the X-ray and further testings, mongys back legs was not broken or any of his nerves were damaged. Thus, physiotherapy(mainly hydrotherapy) was done to his legs. Months have passed and Mongy was healthy, able to stand and support his own weight. But, Mongy may still have this disability where he will not be able to stretch out his back legs.
Mongy survived all odds that the world has to offer. He still with us, healthy, running, happy and more content than ever before.

Hello from Twitch

Twitch arrived at PASH last year because his owner migrated overseas. The owner successfully re-homed all his other cats except for Twitch, due to his abnormalities he could not find a forever home.

Twitch may have been attacked by a dog when he was a kitten and showed up his ex-owners home injured. While twitch did recover he was left with spinal damage, a crooked sternum and brain damage. He has also lost sight in one eye.

The residual effects of the trauma have left Twitch with a crooked walk, a head tilt a twitchy eye and involuntary head movements. Twitch spends his days chilling with the kittens at PASH, he adores the kittens but is not very fond of the adult cats.

Twitch is special and a survivor, he needs a loving home where he can chill indoors and be a companion.
