Good to Know.

At PASH, we operate with limited funding, which directly affects how many animals we can care for at any given time.

Our shelter space is also limited throughout the entire process—from surrender and intake to rehoming. To protect the health and wellbeing of our animals, we must avoid overcrowding, as it can lead to stress, illness, and a lower quality of care.

As much as we’d love to help every stray, it’s simply not always possible. We appreciate your understanding and support.

How you can help.

Before You Surrender an Animal, Please Consider Other Options:

  • Can you adopt or foster the animal yourself, even temporarily, while you search for a permanent home?

  • Have you desexed the animal? Spaying or neutering helps prevent unwanted litters and reduces future surrenders.

  • Reach out to friends, family, and social media to help rehome the animal within your network.

  • Always keep pets safely contained on your property—roaming leads to more strays and preventable issues.

If you still need to surrender an animal you can do so by filling the form below.

Please note that this is the only way we can accept surrenders into our shelter. We currently have a waiting list and you will be contacted via email when a space becomes available.

Please do not bring surrenders to our shelter unless we have contacted you.
